Assistant General Manager – Coquitlam Flagship Store
GreenTee Golf is seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team at our flagship Coquitlam location. This role is ideal for a retail professional with strong golf product knowledge and proven management experience who is ready to oversee daily operations, drive sales performance, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience.
The AGM will work closely with the General Manager and corporate team to ensure operational excellence, maintain brand standards, and foster customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in leading daily store operations
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional service
- Act as a golf product expert, providing clients with tailored recommendations
- Conduct regular store walk-throughs using defined check points to ensure:
- Store cleanliness (shelves, fitting rooms, restrooms, and stock areas)
- Visual merchandising and display standards are met
- Inventory accuracy and stock organization
- Customer service standards are consistently delivered
- Take ownership of customer relationship management, ensuring clients receive follow-up communication, event invitations, and ongoing engagement
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally to protect and enhance the brand experience
- Assist with inventory management, price matching, and promotion execution
- Contribute to planning and executing sales events, new product launches, and in-store activations
Work Hours:
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
- Must be available for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience (golf or sporting goods preferred)
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to conduct store audits and enforce operational standards
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Multilingual ability (Chinese preferred) considered an asset
